Fire fighting planes..anyone fly one?

I work for Pratt and Whitney Canada who make the PW123 turboprop engine which powers the CL-415 water bomber. About 10 years ago I had to go up to Canadair factory in North Bay Ontario to change an engine harness and I got a tour of a brand new CL-415.

The Pratt Rep that was with me went for a water pickup test flight once and said when they hit the water he thought the entire aircraft was going to tear apart.

I have the utmost respect for the guys that fly those, and the job they do.
