OK, Pun intended! Didn't know what else to call this thread.
So most all you guys and girls know I'm on here listing / selling a lot of parts. Started out by selling my extra parts from my projects. Then one day I got a message from a member here that a guy he knew had a bunch of stuff he needed to part with because he had sold his house and didn't want to scrap his collection of fine Mopar parts! Thanks George!
So with the help of my wonderful / beautiful wife who said I needed something to do to keep me busy and out of her hair, we went and got this guy's stash of parts and began our Excellent Adventure! Now, we are gearing up for our next big adventure, which will include parts dropping along the way, meeting some of you guys along with some people on Facebook groups.
This parts drop stuff started when I had sold a pair of bucket seats to Jim in southern Missouri. Then the Covid deal broke and delivery got put on hold, for about a year. Every day I would look up and see those seats in the shop and bug me.
Theresa and I were in the Smokey Mountains for a Motorcycle Ride for a week and brought the seats with us. One rainy day we hopped in the truck and took off 700 miles to drop the seats off to Jim In MO. Which happens to be right there on part of Old Route 66.

Rob & Kitty in Macon, GA. Super nice people to meet! Stopped in Chattanooga, TN and dropped a bunch of stuff to a guy there, then on to southern IL to Marion, then on to Mascoutah IL and also Springfield MO. Have met a few different members along the way on a trip up in North Carolina. Met with Jackie and his wife Susan and also Mike over in Mineral Bluff, Ga. Both great guys! Latest was a trip up to Va to pick up a car from a member here, Frank. Again, another great guy to deal with and meet and BS with.

So what was just a little part of my hobby is turning into bigger things, helping others find some parts they need that otherwise might get scrapped. Thanks for you all buying my stuff and I'll keep looking for more!

TO BE CONTINUED!

What a life AL. Helping other Mopar maniacs and seeing this great country at the same time.

Next time you come up 75 towards Chattanooga I'd love to meet you in Cartersville for a Coke.

You helped me with a part (my CRS means I can't remember ****, lol) but I know I bought something from you.

Al, I pictured you as a 300 lb good ol boy and about 75 years old.

So jellous of your adventures. I figure at some point I'll have enough of your stuff to start selljng.

Take care

Outstanding! rumblefish(Rob) and I got to meet on the east end of Long Island at the end of June. We're about 2900 miles apart. He's every bit a gentleman in person as he is on line. He's also not afraid to correct you. Thanks, FABO!

Dana, seems like the first part I ever sold , was a park brake handle, to you !

Great adventures Al! I always look forward to your sales here. Nice way to see the country and help people out at the same time! Thx for all you do, 65'

Great story Al! Nice to see how things morphed/grew!
Thanks for what you guys BOTH do.
Theresa has been a big help, she took over the shipping part. Getting us set up with UPS and home pick up with the Post office. Getting quotes. Getting us on a few Facebook groups to move the big stuff we couldn't ship. Keeps me motivated to do this . And like mentioned above, a lot of fun cruising around the country picking parts and meeting people make a few . Turning virtual friends into real people we met !

Very cool Al. I’ve seen some of your stuff for sale, and figured if I happen to catch anything I needed, I could head to Florida to get it, I lived there for over 30 years, and my mom moved down there about 20 years ago.
I now live in Va, but originally from Connecticut and going up to see family, I have road tripped out a few times and picked up wheels and tires from “MrGTX” in Ma.
Another time i brought my engine block and met “Moper” Dave in Ct.
this trip, I’m currently on, I met “Greg73” from PA to drop off a 904 transmission, and “DavesCuda” to drop off an A833.
on a trip to Florida, I met a guy to get wheels and tires for my truck. Same concept, but not
Quite as memorable. It’s a Silverado and he was a Chevy guy.
My wife has gone with me on every one of those traps, so she’s used to the parking lot parts shuffle.

Wow, you and Theresa are having some awesome fun and getting to make new friends thanks to the hobby/addiction that so many of us share. I would love to be able to do that, I think what you both are doing is fantastic, a big thumbs up to you.
:thankyou::thumbsup:

 Great post Al ! I look forward to seeing y'all again sometime. I need to apologize to Theresa for spelling her name wrong in a reply to one of your posts a while back. I promise to do better....lol. Hope you 2 have a fun trip out west, and be safe. :D

Cool gig you got going there AL! You’ve helped me out on my Hemi build with bolts
and oil pan hope to get to meet you sometime in your travels:thumbsup:

Hey Jackie, next time we get back up there T & I will do our best to get together with you guys again !

I have said this before and I meant it.
In these parts Al & Theresa are what we call "Real People" meaning that they put others ahead of themselves. It was great to meet them on old Route 66 in MO when they delivered my seats, just wish we could have spent more time taking about the old days of drag racing in Wentzville, MO.
Happy trails to you both.

Al you seem to be a wonderful guy that really enjoys what you do...Its hard to find a person with your great attitude and passion for this hobby...Your prices are super fair, and I wish you and your wife nothing but the Best on your adventures...Keep up the good work Bro!! God Bless..

Having fun is what its all about , we are fortunate to live in the US and the birthplace of ALL Mopars !!
I to have been on many many trips across the US getting stuff I wanted from 10,000 Lb Moline 705 tractors to Centennial Plows in NE.
Had my Gmc dually and a 30 ft gooseneck loaded aboard SS Badger coal powered ferry and crossed the Great Lakes we are blessed indeed.
