Collapsed Seat-backs 64 Barracuda

There's no easy fix, if it's in the seat frames. If it's a frame problem the seats have to come out & be disassembled. The welded pin that forms the latch can be bent, the frames can rust badly if repeatedly soaked through the foam. They usually can be fixed though, just clip the hog rings carefully after separating the seat halves. The metal can be straightened w a hammer & dolly, and a straight piece of 16 ga metal can be pad welded over it if there's a crease or crack.
Hello Demonic,Thank you writing.
This collapsed situation,
would it be similar to state that the ''stopper'' has sheared off.
Hence the back is moving back too far because there only remains ''a stub to hold it.''
That the remaining stub will need to be sawed off.
And a new stopper be welded in its place ?
