After all the problems I have had with my car for over a year, things seem to be working great now. Some of you know I’ve been having engine issues followed by a strange stuttering at the launch that turned out to be ignition related (I believe). Picked up a win this past weekend in Pro class at the first race weekend I’ve been able to make it through this season.
After being plagued with elimination round red-lights on Friday and Saturday, #1 qualifier turned into 6 round wins to park the Duster in the winners circle Sunday. Car ran from 7.038 to a 7.08 1/8 mile (7500’ density altitude) in the heat, with no reaction worse than a .032. Most lights were in the teen range. Really praying that both myself and the car are back to normal for awhile.

This was the best round of the weekend. He went .001 under, and we were door to door the whole run.

It does sound really good. Congrats man!

Nice!! I have not had any W's yet this year (which is a little odd, but whatever)...I have just sucked at driving this year, lol...plus I have been messing with leaving off a button instead of footbrake, which seems to have caused more issues than it solved.

Congrats again! Nice to see you solved your electrical gremlins

My the rest of your session be nothing more them minimal maintenance.:thumbsup:

Just proves once again this sport is not for the feint of heart. You stuck with it when we all know you just wanted to burn the car to the ground where it sat. We have all thought that at one point or another! Hah! But parking in the winners circle has a way of erasing all the pain to get there! Super well done! Car sounded like it was going to eat the other guy, just squatted and left arrow straight, great pass! Nice car! And certainly no small feat keeping reaction time so low and consistent.

The reign of terror continued this weekend. Had three separate races. Won the gambler, second in no box and was in the semi of Pro when we got rained out today.
