Finally found some of these, very hard to find NOS. I got them cheap also $10 each!

Hey it is a good truck. I sold my 84 short bed to my nephew and I am hearing he is badmouthing me that I sold him a money pit. A hot little 318 with the 4 speed overdrive so I can just imagine the abuse the little truck was getting
 
I love it that oil issue was a freaking weird thing other than the acorn shells coming out of the vents still it is a great truck for what I do.
 
I think they (dealer) finally got my truck fixed. The check engine light would come on. The performance was fine, oil and temp all ok. After 2 years and 15 visits I finally convinced them to change the engine computer. They threw a lot of money at it under warranty, new set of sensors and fuel injectors and other parts. Put 600 miles of hard driving on it and no check engine light.

A pull good enough for 3rd place. Ms LeAnn, climbed out of her truck, came straight back and took Ms Whitley and us back to her pit and let the kids take turns in the truck and showed her all how to run it... yeah I may have started a very interesting hobby by bringing her to this haha. She can legally start truck pulling in 2.5 years supposedly.

The best part, when they raised the hood and my daughter screamed “it’s got a hemi “ as loud as she could. They couldn’t believe my daughter knew what engine it had. She asked how she knew, and my daughter pointed and said “because of the wire plugs on the valve thingies” proud papa moment for sure.

Morning!
Heavy smoke outside, cant see 1000 feet.
Scrap run today. And Fargo Fred texted me, he picked up a steering box for me. Thinks its in good shape. Its not far off the trail,so i can grab it after scrap delivery.
 
So the v8 emblems were inspired by a 13 year old who has decided to learn to weld. Hes making scrap iron sculptures.
Car show trophys are next on his agenda. Sept his dad is putting on a fund raiser car show for a friend with health issues. That one should be good.
 
Good Morning everyone. I hope all is well out here in coffeeland. I have to figure out why I suddenly have no taillights in my pickup. All others work. Need the truck this weekend, so pitter patter I suppose
 
Well gotta get to work, we've rented an 80 foot lift and my co-worker and I are going up in it to mount a 3 foot microwave dish, should be a good day for it. Have a Great Day All!

Good morning everyone, it's going to be a hot blistering day here in northeast Arkansas, wife works from home today, so I better get this coffee down and let her have the house for a while .
Last night I looked outside at 9pm to see 3 doe and two fawns sleeping just 20 feet from the sports room window.
Everyone stay safe out there, don't get to hot.
 
I'm going to hopefully finish up the outside painting today.
After it gets to hot to paint I'll go downstairs and put the shelves together.
Taco Tuesday tonight with my old PD buddies and others. Lots of beer and lies!!

I watched Lilly King try to repeat Gold in the swimming relay thing. Only because she’s not only from Indiana, but she has spent the last 4 years doing things like visiting sick and injured Veterans at the VA in Indianapolis. Several times a year. She just shows up, usually by herself with no media affair, and just visits. But that’s the only thing I will watch. I’m laughing that the NBA entitled cry babies got beat and badly
