I’d like to lower prices on some items I have for sale here. I did it once before with an edit function at the bottom of the ad but now that’s gone. So how do I edit the ad now? Any help is greatly appreciated.

That has been one of my complaints about this forum for a long time. This site is a little different than most other sites, if you want to change anything you only have a short time to edit (two weeks I believe) and after that time period you just have to go to the bottom of your post and list your differences either price or parts and hope that others will travel down the page to see what you have changed, or the other option is just to create another post with your new prices and parts and garbage up the servers with a bunch of useless posts. Most other sites that I go on will allow you to edit your listing for as long as your listing is available until you delete your post, I believe even the B Body and the E Body sites you can edit much longer but not this site. So just mark your other post SOLD and create a new one with your new prices or parts, at least your new post will be seen.

You are welcome, maybe if enough members complain about the short time for editing on this forum Joey will take a look at it and do something about it.

I moved this thread to "website questions and suggestions" . Joey should get a notification and can answer your question.

Do you have a link to the sale thread you are having issues with?

IMO- "simply" add a post with the reduced price.

As a bonus, there is a record of the price reduction.

This is a good thing for both the seller and any potential buyers.

Changing a sale ad long after the original post could be grossly misused if a dispute arises.
