Non Lockup To Lockup

No you have a 1:1 ratio in the trans and some converter slip. The lock up will knock off 200-300 rpm by eliminating the slip. So the ratio won’t change but the rpm drop in lockup is a big plus.

I know, the converter slip means it's not 1:1. With lockup it is, so I will gain nothing over high gear in a three speed manual. Right?
