1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

Been the plan all along! Drove it to Gray and back. The whine is a little more than I thought. It barely does it in decel, BUT it does it a little louder when slowing down just before a stop. I'm going to run it a bit and see what happens. I've seen them do it before after sitting up and then clear up, but I'm not holdin my breath. lol The pattern looked good though, so it is what it is.

My 2000 ford van rear end was starting to whine cause the carrier bearings were getting worn out, moving the ring gear away from the pinion (miss alignment).

Put new carrier bearings in it and the open diff kit. Whine was just about gone after first test drive. Put 500 miles on it and the ring gear wore back into place, whine was gone.

Changed rear end lube, topped it off and all is good. 2 round trips down and back to Florida so far and working great yet.
