Fender tag is missing as well as the broadcast sheet. I am working in the dark here. Just trying to find options it has. I know in 1972 of the 10,000 or so demons that were built only 4% of them were GA4. Of those 400 or so I’m trying to find out how many were four-speed‘s and how many were 340s.Fender tag might help
I appreciate your post. From everything I’ve read you are correct. Slant sixes and 318‘s.The Sizzler package was the 340 look without the 340. They were Slant 6s and 318s only. Your car, being an H code, is a 340 Demon. That’s way better than a Sizzler in my opinion.
H code is better than the Sizzler any day and you can still have the stripe if you wish. Does the car still have the 340 in it?The Sizzler package was the 340 look without the 340. Looks like in 72 the hood stripe was called the "Performance Hood Treatment" and no Sizzler option in 72. Picked up this 72 Demon a while back. No build sheet or anything. I’m trying to find out as much as I can about the car. So far I found out it’s a GA4 paint code. It’s an H code car so 340. Has a Hurst shifter. I’ve been told it’s possibly a 72 sizzler. I’m doing some research on these and it looks like from what I read the only engine options for the 72 sizzler was the slant six and the 318. If anyone has any input or information I would appreciate it.
Not it’s gone but I’m getting one.H code is better than the Sizzler any day and you can still have the stripe if you wish. Does the car still have the 340 in it?
Thank you. I read a big article about the sizzler. Looks like it was carried over for part of the year.Looks like in 72 the hood stripe was called the "Performance Hood Treatment" and no Sizzler option in 72. Here is a good thread about the Sizzler.
