That's a good thing to check first. Also, if you're not leaking coolant or vacuum, I've been able to seal oil leaks without taking the intake back off. I spray the leak area real good with carb or brake cleaner, then work some RTV black over the seam and let it set. Once it's cured, fire it up and see if it's sealed now.
