I have had several of them. I think my most regretful one was a 1965 Corvette convertible. It was pretty well trashed, and I did a full body off restoration on it. It was a 300 HP 327 with factory AC. I have been kicking myself in the butt for selling that car for 35 years.

I know you said non Mopar, but the one I regret selling most was a 63 Dodge M37 Military Power Wagon. I will have another one some day.

Still Miss Her...

Only vehicle I regret actually selling was a motorcycle. An Italian made 1999 Laverda 750 Strike. A 180 degree crank parallel twin rare exotic naked sport bike, one of only 30 in California Orange imported to the states. Thing was a stout nimble hot rod and sounded like one. Rode it up in the Georgia and North Carolina mountains a lot as well as did some track days.....coolest bike I shoulda never let go of :(

1961 corvette...replaced it with my first born son...damn I miss that car. It road like a buckboard and smelled like gas all the time...damn I miss that car. So hard to steer with those bias ply tires and manual box...damn I miss that car. It leaked like a sieve every time it rained...yup...still miss it.

My 65 GTO convertible.
Factory Air, and transistorised ignition.
Dark Blue, with a pearl gut.
389 Tri power Auto.

Hummm, regret? I really don’t regret selling any but I would love to still have or get again several;

1979 ElCamino SS, black/red interior, 3 colored stripe running the full length saying “SUPER SPORT.” DOA 305ci/4bbl. Gears unknown.

‘72 LeMans I don’t remember the CID. The guy I bought it from said it was a 389. I know it wasn’t the stock engine. Battle ship grey metallic. Auto trans and 3.42’s.

70 something Duster, 318/3spd manual on the floor between the white buckets, otherwise black interior, moon roof, fold down rear seat, sure grip equipped w/3.21’s.

1970 Mercury Marauder X100. Had to put a water pump on it before I could drive it home. 429, 370 horse, C6, bucket seats, console. But God-it was that light mist green with a dark green interior. That 429 screamed though.

'57 Fairlane 500. Had a 351C in it but the old 312-4 purred too. Was actually very light for what it was. Ugly headlights (57 DOT lighting law prevented it from having its designed quads like the 58) but it had style. Mechanicals were good. Just got tired of its 4 doors and C4 trans breaking (3x) behind that cammed Cleveland. had great 427-8-9 potential. '71 Honda AN600 sedan. 45hp of raw 2 cylinder power in a Jap Mini replica. Parts were already N/A in 1984

Excluding bikes, the ONLY non Mopar vehicle I have ever owned was a 1982 Ford long cargo van that was "converted" to a conversion van. I was working at a wrecking yard at the time. All my Dodge **** was busted and needed a ride. It was a piece of **** with a 300 six in it. As big of a pile as it was, it never let me down. Drove it six months until I had my Dodge junk up and running. Sold the van back to the yard for what I paid when I was done with it. Guess I really don't regret selling it, per say. But when it's the only non Mopar you've ever owned, it's not a hard decision, lol!

... Well there was that nope... Maybe ? nah... Everything that I had that wasn't a Mopar was just filler. I had a Jag xj12 and a Audi Quattro close to her probably the closest thing to a regrettable sale.

Had a one owner 70,000 original 1971 Buick GS 455 pumped up to 650HP Quarter mile 10.5 was an absolute beast sold her to a collector in. Connecticut for $40K

A few but the ones that quickly come to mind are a 1966 SS396 Impala Convertible Marina blue, white int. and top. Fully loaded GM executive vehicle. And next would be a 1969 SS396 Chevelle Convertible Marina Blue white int. and top not fully loaded but had A.C. power windows and locks. Pure chick magnets.

Also owned a Honda AN600 was rare in 1978 I am sure they are extremely rare today

My 1968 Olds 442, 1969 Olds 442, 1989 Mitsubishi Conquest, 1991 Toyota turbo Supra, 1993 Toyota turbo MR2 and 1994 Camaro.

I have two.
The 1st is a 1970 Camaro that was my 1st car. At the time it was a 16yr old used car when I bought it.
The 2nd was a 85 Buick Grand National I bought when I was in the Army.
Sold both because of my ex-wife.
She couldn't drive the Camaro because it was a 3 speed, and the Grand National "scared" her.
Her mother and father told her all the time that we didn't need a car like that. So it wasn't long before I got sick of hearing about it, so I sold it.

Don't really regret selling, but the 2004 330Ci convertible was a great road car and the 2000 Miata was just plain fun. I'd love to spend a little more time with my first 340 car ('67 Skylark) just to find out what was wrong with it. The entire time I had it the fuel mileage was TERRIBLE and it was SLOW, then at the end it just ran like crap. Would like to see what one of those runs like in good condition...

My 1st car 63 Nova SS with 327/ 4sp. Dad and I built it.
I moved on to triple black 71 440 Charger and building my 67 Fastback, the only car I still have since 1978.
