I looking for an aluminum distributor housing for a 2557901 small block Mallory distributer, mine rolled off the work bench & knocked a chuck out of it that broke into 3 pieces at he mating flange. I took it to a welder & was told that he wouldn't stand behind welding it up because of how light weight the housing is.

I'm not familiar with Mallory distributor numbers. Is this a dual point? Unilite? Maybe a photo of yours?
