Thoughts/opinions on Blueprint Engines 408 stroker crate engine?

The oil pan used is the "car" type pan, for A,B,E body fitment. We don't use the truck pans. We tested several pan types, including race pans, and saw no difference in windage or oil pressure, so these don't have a windage tray. There are no warranty concerns if someone wants to swap pans for a truck install, or to one with a tray, beyond the obvious that leaks, or defects in the new gasket/pan, or re-torquing caps properly (windage studs) wouldn't be covered. But warranty of the engine itself is not affected.

Thanks. This is probably something I will change before installing the motor but it is interesting to hear that the testing didn’t show any benefits from a windage tray. I would be thrilled if I could spend that cash elsewhere.
