Once you get that sorted, it’ll be an animal! Those S475s are beasts, especially on a G3. I’ve got some sort of parasitic draw on the battery. It’s dead inside of a week.

that sucks. maybe a stuck relay or a bad battery?
i lost all ignition on mine for no reason what so ever. have compression, fuel but no spark at all. checked my fuses and relay swapped out no change. to exhausted to consider messing with it anymore. bout to sell it dirt cheap now. it is time. new wiring x3 and never functional. im done with everything and pretty much sick of cars in general. i get it now why there are so few 1 man shows in heads up racing. its a damn job to just keep it running for christ sakes. uggg

I understand your frustration. I get like that also and wanna sell some projects or just everything. I think it’s wise to just take a break for awhile. Dustin

You’ll get it figured out. How is power routed to your Holley ECU? On mine, it’s the only thing that’s not run through the battery disconnect switch.

as holley instructions require. power/ground to battery post and remote power wire to ignition key on, to a dash mechanical switch. i get fuel, have compression but no spark. cant be power but maybe a ground? ive not checked that yet. been feeling pretty bad physically since i got back. tried friday tnt and it sucked the life right outta me. 3am bedtime is 6hrs to late for me. haha

she runs again as of minutes ago....and i am retarded. popped a fuse to the coils. swore on my life i checked and double checked....apparently with my eyes closed and in the dark.

that sucks. you need an aftermarket trans. mopar stock case stuff terrifies me. proglide i have is a giant piece of mind in many ways. i also love my legs even if they hurt 24/7.

we've all been there, sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees. at least (or at last, lol) you found it.
only with help from rick trunkett of "big 3 racing" in ohio did i resolve the issue.

Nah... gonna stay 727 for a while. This one is as built as it can get. Just ordered a new converter and a Cope valve body with 1st and 2nd gear trans brake.

i was blowing out spark. tonight i closed the gap on my plugs(lol look at pic) ordered another different hest range plug as well. 1st pass it literally died on me about 100ft out 1.43 60ft
2nd pass 6.33@112mph
3rd pass 6.12@112.90mph
last 2 passes i was able to reach 6krpms before the spook the cars built into me and short shifted. regret it cuz the car was really pulling in low gesr unlike anything its done before. so there is some big promise after tonight. thst i got it fogured out.
never run a big gap on a boosted car. turbo car instructions 101. some how i fucked up the plug gap by using feelers. this time i used actual spark plug gapper. down from .071 to .020..doh!

Awesome! So after plugs then the hope is just working on the driver mod and getting used to it?

nah. im used to it now. time to turn it up and work on the boost controller sife of things. as it takes 2.4 seconds into the run to get to 10psi. id like that to be a lot sooner now.

Glad a d you got it figured out. That’s huge gap.

so i went to thunder valley in bethany mo on saturday for a small tire race. 22 cars total. had a losers bracket. i made it to 5 cars.

1st round i maxed the map sensor out at 30psi...boost controller issues(solved tonight again thanks to rick of big3racing in ohio)
2nd pass car made a badass a to b pass still short shifting under 6krpms. dragy concluded it was 5.82 pass but idk or believe it. track wasnt worth a **** for that kinda et for me.
for number 3 i tried to enjoy both lanes on my 3rd pass. wanted to experiement with the nascar left turn ordeal. sooo glad i was in the right lane for this. or id have been in the spectator stands. car made a massive left turn from loss of traction about 130ft out or so. was in the other lane watching that guy sliding left n right as well.

did a comp test tonight 5cyl are 185 and 3 back cylinders on drivers side back are 175. that could be pushrod pump up or valvetrain related perhaps? no water in the cylinders all dry plugs, seems to be ok.
did blow oil out the crank case fill on the intake. i believe this is what caused my left turn on my last pass. got oil on front runner inner sidewall of tire.
live n learn. had fun at least this time around.

driver side plugs left(bottom) to right(top) is front to back on cylinders. not seeing anything that really stands out to me but i am fricken blind as a bat anymore.

Glad you’re finally enjoying making passes in your car. The plugs look pretty good to me but I’d love to see one cut open and get a look at the fuel ring. By your pics the timing looks pretty good, heat range looks pretty good and I might add a little fuel if it were mine, after I saw where the fuel ring is. Nice work.
