408 or gen 3 hemi
Clearly I have a bias as I just stuffed a Gen 3 in my A body. It was not easy but it was very worth it. Car drives great, I simply do not have enough good to say about it. I will do it again. For any of you seriously considering it I did a build thread while doing mine and addressed many of the issues and my solutions to them. 6.1 Gen 3 in 72 Demon. While I may not have always chose the best solution I got er done in the end. And I think it is beautiful. It in no way reduces my love of classic SB Mopars but it is beautiful in its own way.
