I folded it toward the back of the car. Initially the motor and trans went in without folding the seam but when I pulled the trans and motor out to repair a rear main seal leak I noticed there was a mark on the bell housing where the seam was rubbing away at the aluminum bell housing so that is why I folded the seam over. I am also running Shcumacher engine mounts and an Energy suspension trans mount.
