quitting coffee

2 cups in morning, another when i get to shop, then one at 10:00
And another with lunch. Or for lunch. Too much?
Weekends way more. i get stressed without the coffee, and decaf doesent agree with me.

I should quit. And cigarettes too.
The coffee is nothing compared to the cowboy killers. Forget about all else IMO, and quit the cigs. The tar kills the aveoli and cilia cells in the lungs, leading to emphysema and bronchitis. If you quit in time, those cells can regenerate, although the aveoli slowly. Those are the tiny balloon-like cells that exchange O2 and CO2. The final stage of COPD is hell on Earth. The lungs can no longer exhale CO2 and every breath takes much effort. To add insult to injury, since most of the cilia cells are dead, the lung passages are inflamed and swollen, and restricted or blocked from phlegm that can't be moved out. That's when whistling is heard. If you hear whistling when you breath, it's a sign of bronchitis. If you cough during the night, likely you have some stage of COPD. Don't forget about punishing the heart, and now it appears the pancreas too.

The benefits of coffee on the liver don't decrease if you drink too much. It's the side effects of too much caffeine that is to be avoided.
