Welcome to the best car group in the world. I watched John Hagen run many times at Minnesota Dragways before it shut down in '76 I believe. I think he lived in Fridley, Minnesota when he campaigned the green car for a while. I remember the announcer at the strip bellering out, "and here's John Hagen from Fridley Minnesota!". I remember seeing his car parked off of University Ave. in Fridley a couple of times. I wonder if the garage fire was in Fridley and then he moved to St Paul. I don't remember seeing the red car run. This was a long time ago so I can't say my facts are 100% accurate. Maybe someone else remembers those times also.
