I love Hylomar!!

I have been battling a leaky 727 pan for about a year. I tried multiple gaskets and finally purchased the Mopar reusable gasket. Unfortunately, the pan still dripped from the front left corner. I also had a leak from the speedo pinion shaft.
I decided that this was the weekend that I was going to make the tranny drip free. I took out the speedo carrier and pinion ad made a trip to the local transmission shop. They had a seal that fit and has a spring around the lip to give a better fit.
I removed the tranny pan and meticulously cleaned all surfaces on the pan and tranny. The lip of the pan was flat and showed no signs of overtorqueing. I have a tube of Hylomar Blue which I have used in the past. I applied a thin coating to all surfaces and let it tack up. Bolted everything back together and torqued to 100 inch pounds. Finally, no more red fluid on the garage floor!
The pan will leak just give it time. Sorry
