318 pistons

Anybody able to identify these 318 pistons?

I found it! Stock style rebuild piston. Any idea how far down the hole these pistons end up?

Or anyone can tell me how to figure it out based on compression height?

With factory 318 deck height of 9.6 inches,
9.60 deck height
-6.123 rod legnth
3.477
-1.655 half stroke
1.822
-1.72 Compression Height
=
.102 below deck
Your results may vary... most blocks were on the high end of tolereance, Then, rod legnth tolerance, how true is the crank, how parralell are the decks to the crank, and all the other "blueprint" specs.
What do the pistons measure below deck right now?

I had a 68 318 and it was pretty shallow, but Ive seen some deep ****'s too. Get some closed chamber 273 heads and rock it. KB399 pistons offer some compression. Most others are stock.

I used Wiseco pistons (will need new rods too) and got about 0.005 in the hole.
