Household vacuum cleaners question?

I keep this one around for food crumbs, but it leaves behind a bunch of hair. I get all the hair with my socks.

Heard about guy with Roomba that was programed to run at 3AM. But the dog pooed at 2AM. Woke up to poo all over the house.

OH OK, I was searching to try to see something IN the water. I did actually have a pump powered bong in the 80's. I lacked the inventiveness to introduce some sort of controls on it & it was very wasteful. Not vey portable either as it was 120v. Now if it was 12v. I'da been all set.
