I just switched over to the aluminum one with the correct length. Also the 66’ cast one the inner hole the bolt travel thru is larger as well. Maybe when I do a oil change on my 72 340 I will pull that one down and measure to see if it a bolt issue or casting issue. I believe the 340 one is aluminum as well.
