Not everyone will get this. They even got the year right.

That's pretty good AND I STILL REMEMBER WHEN I FIRST SAW the move Bullitt

I was going to Navy ET school, Treasure Island, San Francisco. A classmate had actually seen it and wanted to see it again, and "knew just the place"

He led us to a TINY little bitty tall narrow theater in downtown SF, jammed in between the other buildings. We went in and climbed up and sat right below the projector window. GOD!!! I can still remember looking DOWN AT THAT SCREEN as that stang hopped it's way down those hills!!!!

Of course a "must do" for sailors back then in that atmosphere was to find someone with a car and go down Lombard Hill

Got that t-shirt Del. It was my 78 Aspen in 1982, going to DS A and C school at Mare Island.

I remember the charger puling up on the mustang on the straight aways , there was an article in the Saturday evening post back then , that steve mcqeen couldnt believe they bought a show room car that would actually outrun his hand built mustang . Read it setting in a dentists office , back then.
