Maybe put a coin or a lighter beside it to aid with perspective. I see it has an oil seal, does it have a bearing below seal?

If shaft size is around 3/4” i would say its for a steering tube.

I was watchin a vid the other day, guy modifying a steering tube.

I dunno what impressed me more....TJ's "guess" or your workmanship!
Nice:thumbsup:. How much? For a 67 barracuda power steering.:D

I was thinking about making a few to sale but I don't know how much interest there would be for them.

2nd question: How in the hell did you get the pin out the end? Murdered one with a sledge and it didnt budge. I wouldnt think these would be in this tight as the coupler prevents them from dropping out. Interference fit, yes but not 60 ton press fit!

I made a tool if I can find I will post it.

A good part is well worth that. The OE rubber plastic seal bushing is priced at anywhere from $35 to $50.
I mostly see the $50 price.

I had about 34 bucks in the seal and bearings. The 6061 Aluminum was a drop. But I can buy 6061 for about 10 bucks a foot. I have a manual lathe so the Machineing is slow. So about 1/2 hr on mill so I come up with 60 buck total. I would need to make 5 or 6 of them to make it worth my time. So I guess if I could that some people that would take them for sure I would make them.
THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.
