Tire

We ran M/T Sportsman Pro tires on 1967 Belvedere for a handful of years. Drove it 23 miles each way to the track. Never had an issue, but car only ran mid 8's in the 1/8th at the time. Got caught in a rain storm more than once and it was okay, just had to drive sensibly. We have ran M/T ET streets on our Street/Sportsman car for the last 15 years and they have been a great tire. Never used them on the actual road though. That car has been 11.0s but typically a 11.70s car. M/T seems to have discontinued alot of M/T ET street tire sizes, so may not be able to get the size you want. My wife uses Hoosier Quick Time Pro tires on her car and they are pretty much the same as the M/T ET streets (I do think the M/T ET streets last longer). Shes been 10.70s without an issue, no road driving with those either. The new hot trend are the M/T radial tires, but I think they are less forgiving on a track that's not prep the best. Not sure how they handle on the road either.
