at least that's how I saw it...... but so many want to change the parameters of the discussion. I think if we just read post 1, and pretty plain and all should be able to answer which they think would win. It's not about "what if I already have...." or "who only spends 3k" or anything else. Post 1, which one wins? If the 318, it shows something of the expense and what the 340 has become. A restorers or class racer engine. Not the smart choice for a daily driver that does weekend warring.
