I look forward to seeing this one finished. I have thought about making the Project X from a model or di-cast car but just never got to it.

Popular Hot Rodding...doing big block or small block version?
I think I'm going to slap a bb in it keep in mind it's going to be close but not exactly spot on

so build it they will come lol

Ok time for wires. I use an old junk hdmi cord that I took apart. It has multiple colors to choose from .I choose yellow for this model I make sure to make them extra long and fit them after I shove them in the distributor

I remember back when I used to model, I'd buy the pre-wired distributors off ebay for 5 bucks a pop

I don't even wanna know what they go for now

Also I threw some black panel wash in the door gaps and truck I love the depth it puts into the bright car

Getting the tilting hood right it was a pain . I finally got it by using my model glue 1st then to hold it for drying I used some hot glue .

Lastly the chrome gos on . Now I tried some thing different on the chrome on this one. I use mat clear to dull the chrome . But this time I tried using a magic eraser. Idk if it looks better or worse?

Hey Asa, reminds me of the ol' Green Sardine. Mike always had the front up in the air. Always a 4 speed and a screamin' small block. The green panels on the sides were laced.
