Block and head groove?

I'm almost 100% certain you need to use copper gaskets with O-rings. Call SCE and find out.

I don't know... when redone with 1008's the orings were removed by the engine builder. I had them take a skim cut on the heads and block and now it's about 14-1 compression.
Oh ok thanks good to know. Idk what I'm gonna do yet. Im gonna start by measuring the piston height i may end up having the heads and deck milled and remove the oring or I may just get some copper gaskets and run em.

yeah as i wrote it i thought ''says he with a tunnel ram and 2 holleys through his hood'' lol.
Tunnel ram is what I was thinking too until RRR said blower and that sounds awesome too but tbh im not sure i can afford either! This motor is gonna be for my 74 challenger and I was thinking about doing like a 80s themed muscle car wide tires, 80s style rims jacked up in the back with a dual quad tunnel ram sticking out of the hood, but a 6-71 blower sounds even better lol

O-Rings have been used with conventional head gaskets before...

This 426-Cube 318 Poly Can Outgun Hemis!

However, I’d try to keep those deck and head surfaces and run boost with a SCE Copper Head Gasket.

Which is why I said I didn't know for SURE and to CALL a gasket company like SCE.

With everything I've read and experienced, "I" would not run anything but a copper gasket with an o-ringed engine. Just personal preference.

Run a toilet paper gasket if you want, I really don't care.
