The instructions say to set the timing to 12*. Find 12* on the balancer for #1 cylinder. Now line up the rotor with the #1 tower on the distributor. Once you get it running you will have to verify this 12* with a timing light by “Locking “ the timing at 12* in the advanced settings on the tablet. Once verified lock down the distributor like you would any time you adjust timing then “unlock “ timing on the tablet. The computer will control it from there. You will also need to verify fuel pressure based upon the map your running.

That is about where the phone died. Right in the middle of that. I made sure thats where I was yesterday, making sure I had the 12 degrees BTDC, ran through everything making sure it's hooked up. I do know I hadn't connected the air temp when it started, don't know how much of a difference that made...and still can't get more than 29 lbs/hr as I have 35's, what they sent doesn't rectify with the program only seeing 29's-that has to change something as far as how much fuel is being sent to the amount of air it needs to burn correctly. I might download the newer app and see where that gets me after checking everything, could of been what I shoulda done first, the newer version. The new one looks like it reads v5 something-not same as this, maybe better options?

I think I'm Just gonna start from scratch, it works or I pull some hair out....

Ok, so what I’m reading is you have the kit with 35# injectors? Map 5002 is for 29# injectors. The smallest map you can run now is map 5011 or 5013 with the mild cam you say you have. Those maps run 43# of fuel pressure. Verify those are correct.

You can load maps without using the wizard. Try loading map 5013.

I also believe you are running the newest version of software.

and I found what was wrong. Not wanting to fight with some things, wiper motor etc I had it sitting off to the side, it must of tagged the rotor when I had the cap off. I was watching for it to move while I was ratcheting it over to 10 BTDC-went and got a new one-it has a rudder that holds it in place, didn't notice when I went back with it, gonna load the 5011 first, it has been running it up 60 psi fuel. Yesterday it was running the 43 psi while idling. I see how that would work but didn't know if the cubic inches would bother it. (Not actually say what I have-here's the spec sheet.)
Spec sheet 318 c.i..jpg
and the shipping sheet from Jegg's,

and I verified visually that they were 35's-don't know why they shipped it that way either but going out to give it a shot now with the rotor replaced.

There is a map matrix at the back of the installation instructions. My guess is your best map will be the 5013 based off of vacuum at idle looking at your camshaft specs. I’ve had the best luck using the vacuum at idle to pick the map and skipping the wizard. (Find out what your idle vacuum is) 5011 may work if you want to try it first.

Get the timing set to 12* BTDC. If you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator set it to 43psi with the vacuum disconnected.

Once the timing is verified at 12* per instructions, Go into the spark control and set idle spark to 18-20* at idle and 32* all in at 3K.

All of the kits come shipped with the 35# injectors unless specified differently.
