6/22/67 would definitely be a 340 made in 67 for a 68 car that would probably be coming off the assembly line very early in the model year; likely August 67. That engine could not possibly be correct for a 69.
That’s kinda where my line of thinking was. I guess I should just be grateful it’s a 340 like what was originally envisioned. Thank you for your input on this as there is no secondary engine I.D to be found on this block, not near the bell housing nor the oil pan rail.
