Well ingot the final nhra licensing passes done by the skin of my teeth. I'm much better at running all out than I am at trying to run a set time and a set mph.
But luckily it's over, and luckily I did it on that last pass. Found a small oil leak and the trans brake wire came off the transmission on the last pass.
In light of all the radial racing up here and lack of no preps I decided to switch to Mickey Thompson radial pros. Got them mounted up and ready to go.
After the last few passes I noticed the car pulling right after the launch(and riding higher on the driver side) and decided to take a look at the suspension and it turned out the driver side ladder bar was 1/4" longer than my passenger side. So I took a few flats out on driver side and brought it back to dead even with passenger side. Adjusted the ARB back to neutral and she is now level again.
I didn't get that all done in time to make the West Coast Grudge Event but ill make the next one for sure.
The main reason I didn't grt it done in time was because I put a bunch of time sweat and paint in my new garage. Got the walls done finally but now we're gonna order the epoxy coating for the floor and I have to get this new ac system installed in the house. So racecar will be on a little bit of a back burner till that's done. But I'll be scaled again and ready for Gaptoberfest on October 16th.
