i didn't mod the X member. i wanted the trans tucked up as close to stock as possible. i figured that after all the other stuff i did to the car, a little floor surgery wasn't that big of a deal

I put one in my 67 notch. Details are somewhere in my build thread. I've never had a problem with it, works every time. Mine is behind a 904 with console and floorshift. I put the controller in the console, makes a nice install.
