Has anyone found a new 727 Transmission Neutral Safety Switch that doesn't leak transmission fluid through the electrical pins (not talking about the thread that screws into the side of the transmission). After reading many posts, this seems like a common and annoying problem. I have bought several switches and am currently using this one sold at NAPA:
ECH NS6562 Neutral Safety Switch, w/ Automatic Trans,
I have tried suggestions by sealing where it leaks, but, after a few months, it has begun leaking again. Has anyone found a 727 Transmission Neutral Safety Switch this will not leak?

Seems to be a common problem. I had a Neon that did the same thing, oil pressure sending unit though.

You might consider obtaining the original P/N and looking for NOS. (2932820 for 1969, same P/N for 904 and 727) Chrysler most likely used the same part for many years so there's gotta be some out there.
It may or may not work but you can't keep doing the same thing.

Perhaps support the wiring close to the switch, to stabilize the pins .
Isn't there a clamp close by on the floor ?

Thanks for the number!

I always use good original ones. I have never seen an oem one go bad other than the pins getting broke off.

The Awesome John Cope is sending me an original 727 neutral safety switch. Any tricks on installing? I assume all the fluid will drain out? Need sealant or Teflon tape on the threads?

Get *** end of the car nice and high and you'll minimize fluid loss. Don't use any sealer on the threads. It seals with a washer - make sure it's on there.

Don't overtighten. Easy to split gasket washer.
