In the 1976 Direct Connection catalog the W-2 head was introduced. It was a bare head #P3870812 priced at 199.00. The Mullen Head was no longer available in 1978 but was replaced by the W-2 Head/Race Prepared #P4120034. Just like the Mullen head, it came as an assembly with valves,springs and retainers. This head #P4120034 was in the Direct Connection catalogs thru the early 1980's. List price in 1981 was $592.25 per head.
