Music today sucks!
Did I hear technics?
Here's part of what my $6000 got me;
not shown is the $1100 tape deck, the matching 1000 dollar Turntable and very expensive Sony XL55 cartridge., along with
a Second amp; they were only rated 90 watts in stereo...... but 200 in mono, so I had to have dual monos, lol.
Later I added a 5.1 surround sound unit with the fancy Dolby decoder. And and a center channel amp. And another stereo amp with another pair of bookshelf rear channel speakers. And a self-powered sub.
That's where I called it quits. That set is
about 43 years old, and still sounded great when I pulled the plug.
