that drum was used in a trans brake application, they require the extra small hole to bleed off fluid from the front drum, to quicken the trans brake action. use a different drum for your trans
Many trans brake require that hole be added. One hole should be check valve and the other is a bleed hole for high pressure transbrake. If not using it for a brake, I would find another drum.
