That would be a very old air conditioner that surges that high.
We tried my Yamaha 2400 on a friends rv that's about 12 years old.
There was a brief high rpm surge and then right back to just off idle.
The ac noise in the camper was louder than the generator noise
Lol. The Yamaha 2400 is very under rated. It can hold a 3,000 watt surge for over 10 seconds. All the off brand generators like champion etc are all yamahas.
The special alternators that are used in all inverter generators was a patented
Design by Yamaha. Even the Hondas use a Yamaha alternator afaik.
