Ah, the deadly bumper jack. 12 years old and I watched one kill the mechanic at our local BP station.
I have 2 of this style.
Very good design. Has an incorporated stop/jack stand feature that is very robust.
(but use stands, anyway if you are going to get under there)
I used them at the age of 16 and no one got hurt in my HS auto shop class.
Almost as good as having a lift.
That one above looks questionable.
