Because the Scamps rear wheel house is somewhat restricted over a Duster's, what wheel size and tire combo are folks running these days on totally stock suspension and wheel house.. Any pics and sizes would be appreciated.
Trying to change out my rallye's to a lighter wheel for bracket racing.
Thanks

I can't answer your question, but I believe it's important to know some specifics of your car. What rear, 7 1/4, 8 1/4, or 8 3/4. I think they are different widths.
Disc brakes, or drum? Big bolt pattern or small? Guys that have Scamps can help.

I have P245/60R14 on the back of my 72 Scamp with an 8 3/4 diff and drum brakes. Factory rally rims but where made by Wheels Vistiques to 7" wide and all of the addition was on the inside of the rim. I did have to roll the lip on the quarter panel. Don't think much more will fit without trimming.

245/45/17 tire on a 17x8 wheel with a 5 inch back spacing. Stock wheel wells and suspension, stock width 8 3/4 with wilwood disc brakes on a 1971 scamp

I run 18x8 Ridler wheels with 235/40-18" tires on mine. Stock suspension, 8 3/4 suregrip rear, and Wilwood big brake kit. 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger.

72 Scamp is same as 67-72 Dart rear wheelhouse.

Thanks to all for the input, I am going with 235/60/15 Mickey Thompson S/S drag Radials and 215/75/15 front runner radials. I'll put up a picture next week once the car is aligned
I rebuilt the entire front suspension so its resting on the bump stops as we speak.
