Dang.....looks like it worked pretty well. Be careful when you get down to the hand sanding stage. Some of the spot welds might have a sharp point sticking up from where the spot welder pulled hot metal up. It will rip a hunk out of your finger, and make you madder'n hell ! I usually just buy gloss black single stage for k frames, and get the paint store guy to give me some flattening agent to mix in with it to dull it down a smidge. If you have no body work to do in the engine bay, put a good smooth coat of epoxy primer on it, and then lay the white to it the next day. No need to even sand the epoxy. You're rockin on with that thing! :D
