AN Adapter Fittings
Has anyone machined AN adapter fittings? Specifically I need to go from -8AN male on a trans cooler to 1/2 NPT. NPT can be male or female. I'm using it as an aftercooler on my compressor and I'm trying to use as much material as I already have and not order a bunch of fittings and flare tools that I'm not likely to need again. I can order some in, but they aren't free and would be a couple weeks out, at least. Doing the female -8AN looks like a bit of a PITA but I think I can cut the threads first and then the 37 degree included angle for the seat? Pic is of a -8AN to 1/2NPT that Summit can order from Russel.
