I kind of figured Ronnie Sox used an H code car as the platform for his world champion drag car but no he used a G-Code C-Code and done it all with style...he used many trick parts and it worked very well. Notice the standard granny cluster dash....love it!!

Exactly. Why would you pay more money for an H code car when most of it will end up in the dumpster and scrap bin anyways. Start with a no option slant sux stick shift car since all you really want is the body, dash frame, and window glass

Maybe for his Dusters but not for his Barracudas

So he received a complete car from Plymouth and disassembled the entire thing? I would have thought the factory would have provided him with a "body in white".

Thats what I thought, the cars were body in white. And he had alot of cars.

You can dissassemble one in a day if it was brand new. Everything would come right apart.

The story as I was told if bodies in white were not available they took the next best thing.
They built many a car for themselves and for others too.

Body in white did not have sound deadening, insulation, wiring, gauges, shocks, fuel system...nothing except sheet metal and bare suspension.
