Plan Z dart from UTG hits the track

How many guys have built cars from the ground up only to be disappointed with their initial run? A crapton. I remember the asshole I worked for back in the mid 80s at the mom and pop machine shop. He built his 76 Chevy Monza 2+2. Blown 383 stroker, Ford 9" with 4.86 gears, back halved, big tires.....all that. He "just knew" the car would go 10s first time out. 12.90s. The 67 Chevelle SS with a warmed up 327 I had at the time was faster. lol He was NOT happy. He did eventually get the car in that configuration into the low 10s though. And later he put "some kinda" stroked big block in it and tubed out the front and the car got deep in the 9s. He could gone that fast with a "MUCH" more stock bodied Mopar.
I rarely (and by rarely I mean never lol) have a plan that works out the way i think it will the first go around. Its too easy to set back and judge and laugh at someone's failures. He didn't have to post the video he could have just hit delete and and came up with an excuse. But he didn't im sure he isn't happy with that time but he posted it that takes alot of gonads imo.
