Mini rachet set- Who has one and which did you buy?

Nice set and you pay for a quality tool that can be passed down.

Definitely. Everyone has to do their thing. It appears to be quality and will be put to the test next week lol... Bicycle riders have some pretty neat small tools in their arsenal if anyone is interested....

Don't need sockets. I need what's in this kit. In my line of work it's all about specialty fasteners. In fact, I may pull out my 1/2' sockets twice a year....

Looks like a nice compact set.

I have the Kobalt version of that.

The "rotator" part broke the second time I used it.

They exchanged it but now I'm scared to put any *** behind it.

Mine is a Stanley, 3/8
I've had it for half a decade and it has been my garage go to ratchet

Not 30 minutes ago, I used it to pop the lugnuts of my duster
(71, so only 70 foot pounds, but still)

Of course, I get it, you get burned on something it's hard to trust it again

Well I needed a fine tooth small Ratchet to compliment the kit I purchased. It feels great. Nice addition for my needs. Never seen the name before however time will tell if it was worth $20.00 lol...

We'll it's been a few months now and it's been worth the investment. The main thing I have noticed mostly about it is because of the size it allows me more options to remove fasteners with removing less parts to get to any given component.

I've thrown the beans to a few times within reason and it's had zero failure. The only downfall is I often forget it's in the box but as time goes on that will either fix itself or old age will make it worse lol...

Don’t shoot the messenger - I use Snap-on.

expensive - yes. But rarely do they break on me. My set in my tool box at my shop has been good to me for over 25 years. I paid like $175 then-now the set is $400.00. I have a second set in my service truck and a 3rd set in my service van. Again 1 broken ratchet in all these years.

Agree. Snap On tools are the best. Had my set over 40 years. Broke one socket and a magnetic screwdriver I bought when I was 17. Both replaced over 40 years later.

if i wanted to buy a mini, i would see if stanley makes a mini rotator ratchet

i have one in 3/8 and it is really cool, but this is the smallest one i could find

and this is why it is cool

there is a 1/4 drive ratchet bit on the third row far right

looks like you pop that in and it acts just like a regular ratchet

That is a cool tool, I'm going to have to look into one for sure.

I have one of Proto's mini 3/8 ratchet, It was my dads and was probably 60 years old. It broke and I called Proto and they said mail it to us and they returned a new ratchet. It is a real coarse ratchet but is great for most things.
