What PARTS did Hurst and Chrysler put in the Super Stock Barracuda & Dart not in other factory cars

So here’s a question… did these cars come with an aftermarket Tach or did the drivers add those themselves?

I’ve seen some original cars with Stewart Warner Tach’s and Synchro-Start units. I also heard somewhere else that they had Jones Motorola Tachs.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

No tach. Just screw cap on tach drive off distributor.

Same cap I believe used on trans speedo output.

I’ve been collecting parts to build a clone and just got this NOS fan, 2585376. It was supposed to have been hanging on the wall in an old dealership. Now I need a 070 clutch.

If you would like I can take a look I still have a few pieces laying around.

Can we talk 4 speed shifter handles? I know photos are hard to come by. Stefan has some. I’m looking for a close enough hurst bolt on replacement. The one I have looks close but tilts in towards the driver and hits my leg. Any ideas?

Weren't the wheels on the Darts, as shipped, have some sort of weird offset/part number? I vaguely recall something about early Dakota wheels being the same or similar.

The rear wheels were a 15” with a positive 1.250 added offset. Here is picture of my repop wheel.

This is kinda cool. Earlier somebody brought up the rear wheels . When Tarozzi was trying to gather up parts time was a big issue. Check out the date!
