Anyone else have a Coldcase radiator direct fit for 67-69 a body? Part number MOP756A?
Did ya have fitting problems as in the brackets were wrong? Attaching pics, my O.E. ‘69 barracuda unit also. Curious if anyone had a different experience or the same problem. Looks nice thought.

Did you test fit the radiator or are you seeing that the brackets look different and thinking there is a problem?

The big plus on this unit besides fitting the firewall is that the OEM shroud fits the other side without mods.

I have the factory shroud to utilize and look forward to that. The brackets don’t match, that is correct and because of this when it is test fit on the oe mount points it sits crooked. High on the passenger side. I could modify it, but thought it was a direct fit. Just thought maybe the wrong bracket got welded on the passenger side.

Is there another bolt hole in the core support ? a little lower ?

I was unaware the radiator fit on the firewall.

That said, and I'm not trying to bash here, just telling it like I've seen it, the Cold Case radiators seem good quality. However, I've installed at least five over the past about two years working off and on for my friend Matt and not the first one was "direct fit" as advertised. We had to move brackets around and or re-drill holes on every single one.

Quick question: I’ve been all over the website. I cannot for the life of me find where these Cold Case Radiators are built.
Where are they built?

I see a few American address. But not even in the videos do they say. “Made in America.” Are they?

I was going to say something about the firewall but I thought I would let it slide, I figured someone would say something. LOL

Got a response from sales@coldcase. They said I’ll have to modify it…Okay then, that’s that. Mine is a ‘69 fish that was a 318 a/c car hence that OE part # rad. Dunno if that makes a difference? Last note is that if I look at pics of OER brand repo or alum radiators for 67-69 direct fit the brackets look like my O.E. does.

ok, now I understand. I was personally involved with development of the A body unit. The owner is a member here on the forums. I saw how it fit. He was extremely pleased with the fitment. No mods required. That being said, it's possible a production run mistake was made? Can I ask you to call our offices and ask for Ken? 844-REAL COLD

Our rads are not made in the USA. That being said, we have 30 American workers in Hatfield PA of which a lot of them are car enthusiasts. We do all the product development, testing, tech support, marketing etc in Hatfield. Not to make excuses, not to beat this subject to death and not to start a political debate but almost none of the 'american' radiator companies you see make ALL their radiators in the USA. At least some Cores, brackets and sometimes even the welding is done overseas by literally all the best radiator companies. If they are made in USA, you can tell by the price point being double Cold Case with the same materials or in some cases less quality. It's not ideal but it's a reality.

You as a consumer are free to decide whether you want to pay double to promote american mfg. Our research shows that 95% of customers are willing to pay 10-20% more but not 100% more assuming that the quality is equal..... which in our case is true.

Maybe your "firewall" was not stamped correctly at the factory.
Typical off shore product, it all looks good in the marketing ads until you try to install it. I would return it and buy a Griffin radiator.

As soon as you modify it your warranty is kaput.
Not true. We have a 60 day return policy that includes fitment. Basically, as long as you don't stick a screwdriver through the core, it's returnable for an exchange or refund. We also have a lifetime warranty...not prorated. New replacement if it ever fails.

Called and got Ken…
He told me that I’ll have to modify it.

ok, bummer. Is it a matter of elongating the hole or is the hole in a completely different spot? You can also return it if you don't want to do the extra hole. We can do a call tag and pick it up.

WOW! That’s a lot of verbiage and still did not state where they are made. As for tech support and other “localworkers”, “Okay” I just wondered where they came from because at the end of the day…. You are not building them. You are reselling. The-re-boxing, Re-badging re-packing is all the same thing. I personally own a welding company for the last 25 years. And People do want American designed and American made with American sourced materials. I am not trying to prove a point or have a chip on my shoulder. I just asked where you made them and could not find that info on your website. So I asked. Thank you. Now provide us where they are made because “overseas” is a lot of places.

WOW! That's a lot of verbiage for someone who is just asking a simple question lol! Your first question took a paragraph and after I answered it with a paragraph, now here's another paragraph response when the answer is already pretty clear and if not, really doesn't matter does it? If it's not made in the USA, what difference does it make if it is made in China, Taiwan, Korea or anywhere else for that matter. This is now turning into a thread jack. If you want to talk about sourcing and packaging and countries and anything else about the radiator industry, I'll gladly answer all the questions you want if you start a new topic.

It matters because you were fuckin asked a question and are clearly evading it. Yeah, it's a thread jack alright. And you're doing it. Just answer the question......or can you? To me, this throws shade on everything you've ever posted here. I never trusted you anyway.

In other words it is made in china.

Evidently. Just say it. It wasn't a trick question. By not wanting to answer, he's showing questionable business practices. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

Thank you 512Stroker. That is an answer.
I honestly just wanted to know and did like when people who I ask a direct question don’t answer them because they are in sales person mode.

Almost everything is made there, you could buy a the $1,000. radiator that's made here, but he didn't. C Case fit my '69 Dart just fine with no issues. I don't even run a shroud on my 418, cools fine, even when it's hot, (90's) plus and humid. Send it back and buy the $1,000. radiator. Be Happy.
