Flaming river columns.

I may be exaggerating a little bit on the 440 being shoehorned Certainly if that engine was still in the car I would leave it but it got taken out to put in a charger by the PO. I now the electronic steering units are reliable in a lot of major manufacturers and my wife's last car actually had one and I couldnt tell the difference in it and my traditional power steering ram 1500. I really want a manualntransmissiin and the way this thing is grafted into the column I don't see how on earth a clutch pedal could clear it. I can do basic welding and fabricating but don't thinkni could modify a clutch pedal adequately to clear it and get the right geometry. Also I really want a tilt column as I like to drive with the wheel near straight up and down. I am waiting to hear back from flaming river on which column would work best with a borgensen steering box as they seem shorter than a factory power steering box front to back length wise.
