Yes the motor unit cants toward the fuel pedal which is another problem as my size 14 shoe hits it. The central body of the unit where it interfaces the column is pretty thick and the PO removed some of the metal bracketing to get it to fit over where the clutch would go. Not a lot of metal perhaps about a 1/4 inch strip. I will post some pictures of that mod later this evening when I get home.
