Power Steering Box Removal

Sometimes the only way to know is to give it a try. Pull the column, get it up on stands, pull the hoses, remove the pitman arm, unbolt the box, and work the steering back and forth to see if there's enough room to get it out. You might also look at pulling it out the top depending on where the header pipes run and what kind of shift/clutch linkage, master cylinder and booster you may have. Sometimes you can also unbolt the engine mount(s) and jack it up to get extra clearance. Have fun!
