Am I going to need to remove my driver side header to remove my power steering box?
Probably, what year, model, and engine do you have? What headers? maybe a photo of your engine compartment?
Ya I had to jack up the motor 1/2"-3/4" to get the starter in kept hanging up on the steering linkageWhat cudamark said and sometimes the header needs unbolted and the motor jacked over to get it out. This was the procedure on my 66 Coronet to get the starter out with a 440 and headers.
Then it will come out from the top? I hopeAgree, on my 72 dart, loosen headers,Jack up engine a bit and it will come out(via wiggling).
This should be interesting then actually once I pull out the LCA's to rebuild them and with the torsion bars out of the way that will make it a lot easier forgot about that. It looks like a spring project then firm feel is 3 months out on there boxes.Agree 100% w cudamark. I loosened driver side motor mount and jacked engine up and snaked it out carefully around the torsion bar. It will come out under the car
